MIAMI, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert Thursday for a 12-year-old girl last seen in Miami more than a week ago.
Miami-Dade Police say Anastasia Vela-Fernandez left her home on the 6000 block of NW 30th Avenue just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, and hasn’t been seen since.

She’s described as 5 feet tall with short brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and army fatigue pants.
According to FDLE, Vela-Fernandez may be accompanied by Jimmy Vela, 31, also from Miami.

Vela is 6 feet 2 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He has visible tattoos, including one on the right side of his neck.
