ORLANDO, Fla. — Walt Disney World have resumed selling theme park tickets and booking hotel reservations for 2020 starting Thursday, the resort announced Wednesday.
Disney had previously paused ticket sales and hotel bookings to focus on helping existing ticket holders and annual passholders plan their trips.

According to a post on the park’s official blog, tickets and bookings may be released at different times throughout the day Thursday.
Disney will use virtual waiting rooms to help manage the high volume of guests expected to be planning their visits.

Guests with valid admission will be required to make a reservation before gaining entry to the park.

The blog post notes that some options will still be unavailable due to the phased reopening process.
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will be the first parks to open on Saturday, July 11, followed by EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on Wednesday, July 15.
