ORLANDO, Fla. — For the first weekend in months, bars across the state and here in Central Florida will be allowed to open at fifty percent capacity.
However, despite getting the green light from state officials, some popular bars may not be opening their doors this weekend.

Wall Street Plaza is typically packed with people on a Friday night; however, according to signs in the windows, these popular bars and clubs will remain closed a little while longer.

Other bars in town have shut down completely, The Lions Pride, which is typically packed during Orlando City Soccer games, is out of business.
Meanwhile, other popular downtown bars like Chillers, Cahoots and Latitudes on Church Street announced on the website that they have already reopened this week.

“I love to go to bars,” Sarah Nagy said, “I think as long as the safety measure are in place people can still have a good time and enjoy themselves. I think its good if the bars abide by the CDC guidelines and government protocols.”
It’s unclear why some of these bars are not reopening today and posted on their website to stay tuned for an announcement on reopening.
