KISSMMEE, Fla. — A hospital in Osceola County said it remains open after someone crashed their car into the emergency department.

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital on West Oak Street in Kissimmee said a car struck the entrance doors to the ER Thursday evening.
In a statement, hospital spokesperson Vanessa Guevara said she was “very thankful that no one was injured” and grateful that team members acted “swiftly to protect patients and colleagues.”

No injuries were reported in the incident.
The hospital said it was assisting authorities in the crash investigation.
Channel 9 has reached out to the Kissimmee Police Department for more information about what led to the crash.

Guevara added that HCA Florida Osceola Hospital was “maintaining normal operations” and still accepting patients.
Those seeking treatment at the emergency department are being advised to use the side entrance while repairs are made to the main doors.
