ORLANDO, Fla. — UPDATE 9:30 a.m.
• All lanes I-4 eastbound are open
8:30 a.m.
• An Orange County Sheriff’s Office civilian was working off-duty monitoring a lane closure when his marked vehicle was hit by another car.
• The Field Service Officer was taken to the hospital where he later died.
• He had been with the agency nearly 19 years.
• There is no word on the condition of the other driver.

• A serious crash has shut down I-4 near Orlando
• The crash is near I-4 eastbound near the Michigan St.
• Orlando police are currently on scene investigating the crash.
• All lanes I-4 eastbound are closed between Orange Blossom Trail and Michigan St.
