Body camera video shows moment deputy rescued 1-year-old girl who was inside stolen SUV

Tinnley West was inside an SUV when it was stolen before 3 p.m. in Valrico.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla — Update 2/18: Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies released video showing the moment a deputy rescued a 1-year-old girl who was inside an SUV when it was stolen on Tuesday.

Deputies said Tinnley West was found inside the SUV parked at St. Andrews Methodist Church in Brandon.

Deputies also released video of the person they believe stole the SUV. They said the man is seen knocking on doors on Green Valley Street in Valrico. They said they he is believed to have stolen the SUV with the infant inside.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call 813-247-8200 or Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $5,000 has been offered in the case.

•An Amber Alert has been issued out of Hillsborough County

• Deputies are looking for one-year-old Tinnley Sage West.

• West was last seen wearing a yellow shirt with a white rainbow, tan pants with rainbows, and one sandal.

• Authorities say Tinnley was in a stolen 2018 Volkswagen SUV, silver in color, FL Tag WBR587

• Vehicle was last seen just before 3 p.m. on the 2600 block of Green Valley Street in Valrico FL Tag WBR587
