FLORIDA KEYS — A 10-year-old boy’s life was changed over the weekend.

The boy is in the hospital after surviving a shark attack.

Jameson Reeder Jr. was snorkeling in the Florida Keys in about 10 feet of water when it happened.
His leg was amputated from below the knee.

A good Samaritan pulled Jameson to shore after seeing he needed help.
His family is grateful they aren’t planning a funeral.

“He was on the phone with me the first time, ‘Jesus will save me,’” said Jameson’s uncle Joshua Reeder.
The family has set up a fundraiser to help with the boy’s recovery.
