Disney World’s 50th: Magic Kingdom debuts new night-time spectacle ‘Disney Enchantment’

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Thousands of Walt Disney World guests gathered Thursday night for a preview of Disney’s new night-time spectacle “Disney Enchantment” at the Magic Kingdom.

The fireworks spectacular opens Friday, and it’s a show unlike any Disney guest has seen before.

Disney officials said it’s a journey through time.

“Disney Enchantment” will highlight some of Disney’s favorite characters from the past 50 years on Cinderella’s Castle.

“Disney Enchantment” is much more than just fireworks, it’s a celebration that stretches across the Magic Kingdom.

Even Mickey himself is decked out from shoulders to toes for the occasion.

With a little something for everyone, Disney promises guests they will find something spectacular.
