ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando on Monday announced an opening date for its new Ice Breaker roller coaster.

The new coaster, which will feature four launches and a 93 foot, 100-degree-angle drop, will open in February 2022, the company said.

Park president Kyle Miller said that while the original opening date for the new ride was delayed by the pandemic, the new ride will be worth the wait.
“We apologize for this delay and thank our fans for their patience. We know that they are going to love this one-of-a-kind thrill ride, which complements our existing exhilarating ride portfolio perfectly,” Miller said.

Ice Breaker joins SeaWorld’s other thrill rides like Manta, Kraken and Mako.
The new coaster is set to open in February 2022.
