ORLANDO, Fla. — A popular religious theme park in town is reopening its gates for two free days after being closed for about a year due to the pandemic.
Holy Land Experience will open on April 28 and 29 with free admission and free parking beginning at 10 a.m. each day.

The park allows guests to step back in time by visiting the largest indoor Jerusalem model, walking through the Scriptorium, viewing thousands of manuscripts from around the world and more.
The overall experience takes at most two hours, the park said.

Holy Land Experience closed due to the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, and has remained closed since.
In February 2020, it was announced that nearly all employees at Holy Land Experience would be laid off. The layoffs took effect in April.
