• 1) NASA’s Artemis 1 rocket launch
After a launch attempt was scrubbed on Monday, NASA will try to launch its new mega moon rocket on Saturday. Artemis 1 is set to launch from Florida’s Space Coast at 2:17 p.m.
• 2) Beautiful beach days
Labor Day is the last chance for some families take an end-of-summer trip. Many will be flocking to Florida’s beaches this weekend to enjoy some fun in the sun. Drier air should help lower afternoon storm chances too.
• 3) ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ begins
Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights start this weekend, and Friday and Saturday are already sold out. Tickets are still available for select nights until the end of October.

Stand-up comedy legend D.L. Hughley, one of the original “Kings of Comedy,” has several performances at Orlando Improv over the weekend.

Several movie theaters in Central Florida will have showings this weekend of “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.” People are celebrating the film’s 40th anniversary, with tickets available to see the director’s cut on the big screen.
• 6) Disney On Ice at Amway Center
Disney On Ice will bring its “Road Trip Adventurers” show to the Amway Center from Friday though Monday. Exciting twists and turns await as Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends embark on a wild ride to your favorite Disney destinations.

• 7) Streetlight Manifesto at Hard Rock Live Orlando
Streetlight Manifesto will perform at Hard Rock Live Orlando on Saturday starting at 8 p.m.
• 8) 5th Annual Orlando African Fashion Show
The 5th annual Orlando African Fashion Show will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at 5 p.m. Sunday.
• 9) K92.3 All-Star Jam
Country duo Dan and Shay will headline the K92.3 All-Star Jam on Sunday starting at 8 p.m.
