ORLANDO, Fla. — Blood donors are needed now more than ever. As blood drives continued to be cancelled it is drastically limiting where OneBlood can go to get blood. What is unfolding will impact operations for months to come, and as you know, the need for blood does not stop. Visit OneBlood.org to learn how you can donate blood today!
A message from OneBlood: "The health and safety of donors is a top priority here at OneBlood. We are asking all donors to please make an appointment to ensure social distancing and limit wait times.
Here’s a few of the safety measures we have taken to practice social distancing. 👍
✔At blood drives, only a certain number of people will be permitted on the Big Red Bus at any one time.
✔Donors will be asked to provide their cell phone number so they can wait in their car or outside the Big Red Bus. They will be called when it is their turn to donate blood.
✔At our donor centers, donors can wait in the donor center, but will need to maintain a safe distance between other donors or they can wait in their car and they will be called when it is their turn to donate.
If you are eligible and healthy, please come out and give a life-saving donation."
