ORLANDO, Fla. — Join WFTV 9 Family Connection and our partners Gold Key Roofing, Fun Spot America, Stanley Steemer and The UPS Store for the 2021 Backpack-a-thon Virtual School Supply Drive which will take the place of the annual Back to School Bash. The Back to School Bash usually welcomes 20,000 people and helps more than 10,000 students with backpacks, supplies, haircuts, health screenings and more.
Because of the current climate, they have decided to hold a strictly “Virtual” backpack and supply drive. The school year ahead will bring many challenges to local families, but one thing is certain, students will need the proper tools to make the school year a success. Your online support will allow you to sponsor a student with a backpack and/or school supplies, or even sponsor a classroom of students.
