ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Smoke from a brush fire closed a portion of State Road 50 Thursday morning in Orange and Brevard counties, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Poor visibility closed the eastbound lanes of East Colonial Drive at St. Nicholas Avenue in Orange County's Christmas neighborhood.

Westbound lanes of Cheney Highway were closed at Plantation Drive near Titusville, troopers said.
The road has since reopened.

The blaze is burning in an area between East Colonial Drive and the Beachline.
