Police said Malone was confused, could barely stand and had to lean on the car for support.
Police said she crashed into a mailbox, kept rolling, hit a utility pole and then crashed into the home.
Jordan Paige lives next door and said the crash woke him and his roommates up.
He said he quickly called 911 and ran outside to see if everyone was alright.
“She just kept saying, ‘Oh my God, is everyone OK?’” Paige said.
The two people who were inside the home are fin. Officers said they were trying to keep Malone from getting back into her car, but she was combative and said, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Malone wouldn’t tell police any of her information or perform a sobriety test.
Police said they tried to walk her out of the home, but she threw herself on the ground. Officers said they carried her out and put her on a stretcher, where she tried to fight off the paramedics.
Officers said they had to handcuff her so paramedics could take her to Palm Bay Community Hospital.
Investigators said they had to read Malone her Miranda rights three times, and she slurred her speech as she asked for her attorney.
Police said they found an “almost empty” bottle of brandy liquor wedged between the passenger seat and the center console.
Police arrested Malone on charges of DUI with property damage, resisting arrested without violence and driving without a license.
Authorities said Malone had never been issued a driver’s license.
Investigators said the home, which is being rented out, is uninhabitable.
Malone bonded out of jail a few hours after her arrest.
The people who lived in the home are staying with relatives.
