Investigators reviewing surveillance video from inside Orlando nightclub

ABC News reports investigators are now in the midst of analyzing chilling security video from inside the Pulse, the gay club in Orlando where gunman Omar Mateen opened fire, killing 49 people and injuring dozens of others.

The security videos from different rooms at the nightclub are showing investigators Mateen’s movements as he killed dozens of innocent people.

Sources told ABC news it shows a cold-blooded killer repeatedly reloading his gun and shooting.

The FBI is working closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in investigating whether anyone else was involved, or helped Mateen before or after the massacre.

FBI Director James Comey came was in Orlando Friday to visit the first responders who converged on Pulse the night of the attack.

Orlando police said on Twitter that Comey shook the hand of almost every one of the 300 first responders.

The visit was not open to the public.

Comey also visited workers at the crime scene on Orange Avenue.

Orlando Police Chief John Mina and Gov. Rick Scott were there was well.

Former Orlando federal prosecutor Bruce Ambrose said Mateen’s wife, Noor Mateen, could try to invoke the marital privilege to protect her from divulging any conversations she might have had with her husband about the deadly attacks.

And if she’s already shared any of those conversations with investigators, as some reports indicate, he said a lawyer could try to convince a judge to throw out those statements.

“Any defense attorney worth his salt will try to make that argument and it could ultimately be decided by a judge,” Ambrose said.

He also said he expects the Department of Justice to be looking into every possible charge, including possible terrorism charges, for anyone who might have helped.

Ambrose added any decision to charge anyone will be made very carefully, and thoughtfully, after analyzing all the evidence and all possible outcomes.

Ambrose said the timeline for making any charging decisions is hard to guess because there will be many involved in the decision, but the case will take top priority above all others.
