ORANGE COUNTY. Fla. — Sunday morning firefighters from Orange County Fire Rescue battled a 2 and a half acre fire at a landfill on the 5900 block of Young Pine Road.

Reports of the fire were called into 911 operators at 6:30am
Working with landfill crews and using heavy equipment, firefighter were able to contain the fire.

Orange County firefighters extinguished the fire within a few hours of arriving on scene.

There is still no word on the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
