DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A death investigation is underway after a person was found dead inside of a portable toilet in Daytona Beach.

The body was discovered Sunday morning inside of a port-a-potty near Zelda Boulevard and A1A.
Volusia County Beach Safety had several units respond to the area as they waited for police to arrive.

Officials have not said how the person died and no other details were released.
