Lanes of eastbound SR 408 reopen in downtown Orlando after vehicle fire (WFTV)

ORLANDO, Fla. — Two of the eastbound lanes of State Road 408 are back open going through downtown Orlando after a car fire.

Orlando police said they are on the scene of a vehicle fire on eastbound State Road 408 over Interstate 4. The fire had all eastbound lanes closed as of 4:50 p.m., and two lanes reopened as of 5:25 p.m.

Officers said traffic was being diverted onto Orange Blossom Trail and I-4.

Police said drivers in the area should expect slower traffic.
