ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 19-year-old University of Central Florida nursing student is accused of recording male students as they used the bathroom, police said.
Investigators believe that there may be more victims of Shaun Regasa.
“It’s just unnerving to think that guys could be violated like that,” said student Travis Burngioino. “It’s just going to make me think twice about going into those bathrooms.”

The investigation began on Jan. 18 when a student reported to campus police that he caught a man recording him while he used a bathroom in the Student Union.
The student said he heard a commotion in the stall next to him and looked up to see a cellphone.
The student said he confronted Regasa and said he would call police.
Regasa began to cry and told the victim he could look through his cellphone and delete the picture, a report said.
The victim told police that he looked through the phone and couldn’t find the picture, and Regasa took back his phone, said he would do anything not to get in trouble, and ran from the bathroom.
Police were eventually able to track down Regasa through surveillance video.
On the video, officers saw the suspect running from the bathroom and noticed he had a shirt on with the logo of a school club that meets in the student union on Wednesdays.
The logo helped police identify the suspect as Regasa. %

When police confronted Regasa, they said he denied the allegations, but evidence was found later on his phone that he was recording people in the bathroom stalls without their knowledge, according to a report.
Two students have been identified as victims so far.
He turned himself in to police on Sunday.
Regasa is facing one charge of video voyeurism.
UCF police did not notify students about the incident.
A judge granted Regasa a $2,500 bond Tuesday. He posted bail and is no longer in custody.
