SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A 20-year-old man died early Friday after being run over by a pickup truck in Seminole County, one mile north of the University of Central Florida, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
A 66-year-old Orlando, was driving a truck north on Alafaya Trail at Econ River Place shortly after 4:15 a.m. when he ran over Austin Ekern, of Oviedo, who was lying in the road, Sgt. Kim Montes said.

The driver told investigators he didn't see the man, Montes said.

The crash remains under investigation.
