WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — Troopers have arrested an Orlando man they say shot a car 12 times on the Florida Turnpike Saturday, injuring two, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Kwanza Donald, 33, was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder after troopers said they were able to review surveillance video and identify his vehicle.
Troopers said Donald contacted law enforcement earlier Sunday and after troopers interviewed him, he was placed under arrest.

A 37-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman in a Chevy Impala were injured in the shooting, which occurred around 10:15 a.m. Saturday, troopers said. No bullets directly hit the victims, but fragments caused minor injuries, officials said.
Both victims are from Miami and were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center by ground with minor injuries from bullet fragments, troopers said.

Preliminary information indicates this was a possible road-rage incident, troopers said.
During his interview with troopers, Donald said he was driving to Florida from his job in Texas because he believed someone there was trying to kill him.
He said he shot the Impala because he believed someone started shooting at him on the turnpike, according to his arrest report.
Troopers found a handgun, a Beretta 9 mm, in Donald's 2003 Toyota Camry, officials said.
Donald is currently being held in the Lake County Jail.
