BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Titusville man has been arrested and charged with molesting a child under the age of 12, police said.
Peter Julius Vonborstel Jr., 50, was arrested Friday.
The mother of the victim reported the crime to police last Tuesday, police said.
Vonborstel was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12 and felony lewd and lascivious exhibition of a child under 12.
A judge on Saturday set Vonborstel’s bail at $55,000.
Vonborstel is currently being investigated for similar crimes in another state, police said.
