Skateboarder killed after being hit by car on U.S. 192, troopers say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A skateboarder was killed in a crash on U.S. 192 Sunday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred around 7 p.m. when Matthew Mitchell skateboarded into in the eastbound lanes near Pine Grove Road, troopers said.
