ORLANDO, Fla. — A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot late Tuesday at a nightclub in the heart of the city’s tourism district, the Orlando Police Department said.
Terron McCarty was shot shortly before 11:45 p.m. during a fight at LUX Ultra Lounge at International Drive and South Kirkman Road, Orlando police Lt. Rob Terrell said.
McCarty was found shot to death in the plaza parking lot, Terrell said. Almost 20 spent shell casings and bullets were found in the lot.

Tuesday's shooting was the third at the club in two years.
A man was shot in the shoulder at the venue in November. He told investigators that he wasn't sure who shot him and that there wasn't any fight that led up to it. A friend drove him to the hospital.
In 2015, investigators said an off-duty police officer shot a man who fired a gun outside the club.

The gunman in Tuesday's shooting remains at large.
Police told Eyewitness News that they're reviewing security measures at the club and planned to make a recommendation to the club owner.
They'll see whether the nightclub needs more surveillance. Nearby businesses have security cameras, but it's unclear if they caught the deadly confrontation.
"They don't have control. Nobody's there controlling the crowd in the parking lot," said nearby business owner Florence Silva.
"More extra duty officers. More video surveillance, magnetometers or anything or else. We're going to make our recommendations to them," said Orlando police Chief John Mina.
