Police investigate drowning in Casselberry

CASSELBERRY, Fla. — The Casselberry Police Department was investigating a drowning that happened Wednesday at Regency Oaks Apartments.

The death was reported at about 4 p.m. at the apartment complex.

Officers found the victim, Cynthia Vereen Boone, 61, at a pool in the rear of the complex.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

No other information on the drowning was immediately released.
