Palm Bay woman dies after pickup truck overturns on I-95

PALM BAY, Fla. — A Palm Bay woman is dead after the pickup truck she was driving, with three children inside, crashed into a guardrail on I-95 Friday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Lisa Timmerman, 34, wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the truck during the crash near the Pineda Causeway, troopers said.

Troopers said all three children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Timmerman was northbound on I-95 when she lost control of the pickup, which traveled toward the center median and struck the guardrail, the crash report said.

Troopers are still investigating the crash.
