ORLANDO, Fla. — An Oak Ridge High School basketball player was arrested without bail and is facing sexual battery and false imprisonment charges, Orange County jail records show.

Emmitt Williams, 19, was arrested Wednesday after a woman told investigators she’d invited him to her apartment last week when he assaulted her, according to an arrest warrant.
She said when she tried to leave her apartment to pick up a friend, Williams wouldn’t let her go and forced himself upon her, the arrest warrant says.

The arrest warrant says Williams admitted in a text conversation to forcing himself upon the victim. The text conversation happened in the presence of investigators.
