Deputies: I-Drive hotel evacuated due to ‘suspicious odor,’ no hazard found

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A hotel on International Drive was evacuated on Friday afternoon after reports of a “suspicious odor,” Orange County deputies said.

Deputies said Woodsprings Suites, located at 11781 International Drive, was evacuated at 12:20 p.m. out of an abundance of caution.

Firefighters said one patient was transported as a hazmat alert.

Investigators said that before 2:30 p.m. that nothing hazardous was found.
