ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Three children and two adults were killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.
It happened just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Clarcona Ocoee Road and Gaymar Drive. A person was driving westbound along Clarona Ocoee Road and turning left onto Gaymar Drive when they were T-boned by a car driving eastbound along Clarcona Ocoee Road.
This is the same place where there was a deadly crash on January 26. I spoke with a man involved in that crash. His girlfriend was killed in it and because he lives right next to the crash he says seeing the victims in the crash has been tragedy layered on tragedy. https://t.co/pvh2QAsv4s

Many of the people inside the vehicle were ejected, according to officials.
“With this type of impact, we’re looking to see whether those victims were ejected because they were not belted or whether they were ejected because the car was literally ripped apart,” FHP spokeswoman Kim Montes said.
Troopers said a 5-year-old girl, a 4-year-old girl and a 5-month-old boy were killed in the crash.
A 30-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman were also killed, officials said.
Two other adults were transported to the hospital with injuries.

Eastbound and westbound traffic along Clarcona Ocoee Road was completely shut down.
Another fatal crash happened in the same spot on Jan. 26.
First responders said the massive crash site is among the worst, if not the worst, they’ve ever seen.
