BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A fast-moving brush fire was tearing through a part of West Melbourne, according to Brevard County Fire Rescue.
Fire Rescue officials said the 2 to 3 acre fire was burning near Interstate 95 and West New Haven Avenue.%

No structures were being threatened and no injuries were reported.
Pictures and video showed flames shooting through a wooded area and heavy black smoke in the area.
The fire was under control by 8 p.m.
