COCOA, Fla. — Two men are dead after their air boat flipped near a west Brevard County fish camp Sunday evening.

Florida Fish and Wildlife and Brevard County Sheriff's Office officials began searching for the boat's passengers around 5 p.m. near the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp.

Witnesses said the air boat was traveling quickly and took a turn that flipped it over.

FWC officials said that four people were on board the boat when it flipped. Two made it to shore, but two others drowned.
The two men who drowned are between the age of 70-80, officials said.

The boat has since sunk, though officials are unsure why.
