LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Human remains were found buried Friday in the yard of a Eustis home, Lake County deputies said.
Detectives said they received a tip that a body may be buried on a property on Parkcrest Drive. The human remains were found and turned over to the Lake County Medical Examiner’s Office to identity the body and cause of death, deputies said.

Deputies said it’s not clear if the body is of the homeowner Melvin Kort, 95, who was reported missing in July by an out-of-state relative.
"We did get a report from the home owner's brother, stating he hasn't heard from his brother in a number of years. And that he has been trying to reach him," deputies told Channel 9's Myrt Price.
He lived with two of his daughters, deputies said.
