The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after it said a body was found at the Yacht Harbor Marina in Palm Coast.
Around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, a deputy conducting a follow-up from an earlier call found a dead body in the water near Yacht Harbor Drive.
Part of the Yacht Harbor Marina and Yacht Harbor Drive are closed to everyone expect residents and law enforcement, deputies said.
“We are in the early stages of a death investigation,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “While the investigation is ongoing and we do not have much information to release at this time, I want the community to know that there is no threat or cause for concern.”
The investigation is ongoing.
No other details were released.
