Deputies identify man pulled from Orange County pond

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies have identified a man whose car plunged into a pond Friday following what residents in the area said was a chase.

Aramys Johnson’s body was found shortly before 3:45 p.m. Saturday in a pond near Canoe Creek Falls Drive in the Beacon Park subdivision in Meadow Woods, Orange County Deputy Sheriff Rose Silva said.

Johnson, 26, was somehow involved in an altercation with another driver, who has not been found or identified, deputies said.

No other details were released about the case.
