LAKELAND, Fla. — Three people were injured Friday in a chemical explosion at a Lake County business, firefighters said.
Officials said the fire broke out at The Ruthvens business on Drane Field Road.
The business offers warehouse space.
The fire has been put out.
Firefighters said the patients suffered chemical burns and are all stable.

The Lakeland Fire Department said toluene and sodium hypochlorite chemicals were involved. The chemicals are used to clean kettles where food flavorings are made.
No other details were released.
