New school year begins Wednesday for thousands of students

Orlando, FLA. — Classes begin Wednesday for thousands of Central Florida students.

Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Osceola, Seminole and Sumter county school districts all return from summer vacation.

Drivers should expect to see heavier traffic in those areas.  They're also asked to remember to slow down for school zones.

A spokesperson with

told

the most bus stops are on some of the county's busiest roads: Red Bug Lake Road, State Roads 419, 46, 436, 434 and 426.

Late Tuesday there was the possibility of spotty showers for the first day of school.
